Lovely place to visit.

A great afternoon out with a guided tour of the working windmill by voluntary staff is available only a couple of times per year - see web site for details.A lot of work and effort has gone into restoring and maintaining this mill to near it's former glory.A free parking area is available on the field opposite the mill.A very well maintained toilet with disabled facility is available.A small tea room cum mill history museum is also available on site. The mill itself has three floors accessed via a series of steep wooden step ladders so if you want the full experience expect to do some climbing. There is a small rebuilt shed containing a vintage Ruston & Hornsby diesel engine used as back up when there is no wind.If you this review is helpful, please press like it
