Great park with lots of open space and a nice children's play area with lots of things to do. If you're going to the Cock Inn, if the weather is good I would recommend coming here and sitting outside on the benches. There is also a sign explaining the history (see pictures).
Another lovely local community area (as well as Diss park) used by many locals and visitors to the area during the summer.a nice glass of beer for the gents and a glass of wine for the ladies from the local pub on the green to picnics,dog walking(making sure to pick up after) to the fair that turns up fairly frequently plus the odd bootsale . Open space often visited by the fun fare. Angel Cafe, quaint with interesting food. Cock Inn pub. Busy. Happy Palace Chinese Takeaway delivers here.
Love taking my dog around fair green, always very clean with plenty of dog bins. The fair comes to the green & they have plenty of other activities going on through out the year. There are benches on the green so you can get your drink from The cock Inn which is a Lovely social place and dog friendly. There's also a kiddy play area. I just Love it
