Was pleasantly surprised by this warranty - extremely helpful customer service. Our garages wouldnt touch warranty repairs, so bluechip arranged to pay back to our account, and actually paid when they said they would! Only negative is the 60 per hour cap on labour. Yet to find a garage in the UK that charges 60 or less per hour labour so unrealistic figure, but we did get 300 of the 360 we paid back, so very pleased. Thank you
Waste of time, even the comprehensive coverage has a long list of exclusions, so really pointless unless u want to waste your money..! As we found out when our car went wrong while under warranty, it was far from comprehensive..! :-/
I recently purchased a vehicle which had covered 156000 miles that came with a 12 month premium warranty from Bluechip. After covering a further 2600 miles various faults presented themselves. When I contacted Bluechip warranty I was advised that they were not liable as the faults were due to wear and tear. A deciding factor on purchasing the vehicle was the emphasis the dealer placed on the warranty. On reflection, due to the vehicles mileage, it is obvious that I have been sold a product that does not suit my needs. Please learn from my mistake, and if you are considering purchasing a high mileage vehicle, it might be better to try and negotiate a reduction in price rather than come away with a warranty which is not worth the paper its written on.
When I first bought my car I was unsure whether it needed a warranty however Bluechip were recommended by my dealership.What a great recommended they were, when I had to process a claim after a issue with my car they were fantastic, very quick at responding to me and getting everything processed!The first time I called I went through to their reception who were friendly and very approachable, then I went through to the claim teams who were great. The value of their customer service was perfect, nothing was too much for them. As I had only recently passed my test and did not have a great knowledge of cars they talked me through every small detail.Thank you Bluechip Warranty.
I don't usually write reviews but felt I had to. What a fast, streamline and hassle-free service, I'm so glad that I had this warranty on my car - otherwise I'd be seriously out of pocket due to a suspension issue on my Audi a3. From the receptionists to the claims managers - they're all brilliant!! Highly recommend!!
