Great Family Pub . Wonderful owners.
Popped down the the fighting cocks this evening.We met the new owners and what a beautiful pub. Very friendly, clean very good atmosphere would highly recommend.

Extremely rude and aggressive landlady - will not be giving them my business in future - its a shame as we have only just moved to the area and thought we would give it a go but unfortunately first impressions are definitely going to last! - .............Update - as for your response to my review (again aggressive) I am not telling any lies ..... as I was calmly trying to explain to you earlier, there is a council sign that points directly to your car park (and therefore the bin in question) saying it is a public recycling point and hence I made an honest mistake - all you had to do was simply approach me and say it was not for public use when of course I would have humbly apologized ...... as for being caught on cctv, if you were to think more rationally, there are very few people who would blatantly dispose of rubbish in broad daylight when people are clearly around in the middle of the day and I am definitely not one of them - the reason I wrote this review was because I do not like being aggressively accused when an honest mistake has been made. Perhaps you should take a moment to think twice before being so rude to people who would be potential customers - having only just moved to the area we would have probably frequented your establishment on several occasions throughout the year but Im afraid you have just lost yourself a good profit from our business.
Lovely,friendly local pub. Food is excellent and the staff courteous and polite. Will definitely be back again.
