Despite the fact that was a big 40+ party in the restaurant, we were served quickly & efficiently with a lovely meal in the bar area in front of the lovely log fire.
Called in for a quick lunch while house hunting food very good, beer excellent.

Absolutely first class, ate vegetarian lasagne last night, enormous portions & just the freshest ingredients. Great service, great totally homemade food & a lovely spotlessly clean pub. Totally recommend, wish we lived closer.
Nice country pub, lovely food, friendly lady who served us. Dog friendly to. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars was it was so cold in bar.
